A Day in the Life:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will:
Assist participants with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
Support clients in community participation and recreational activities.
Implement behaviour support strategies and encourage skill development.
Promote independence and inclusion through person-centred care.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (essential)
Current First Aid and CPR certification
NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
National Police Check (essential)
A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, respectful, and person-centred approach
Ability to follow support plans and maintain accurate documentation
Flexibility and reliability for shift work
