My Aged Care

My Aged Care was established with the goal of assisting individuals in navigating the aged care system, obtaining information, and connecting with aged care service providers. This platform provides a range of services, including information on various types of aged care services, an evaluation of your care requirements to identify the type of care and support you may require, and your eligibility for government-subsidised services. The assessment process is conducted by the Regional Assessment Service (RAS) or the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), depending on your needs and requirements.

For individuals who require entry-level care and support provided through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), a RAS assessment is conducted. On the other hand, ACAT assessments are conducted to consider the allocation of a HomeCare Package (HCP), which is offered in four packages ranging from the lowest level (one) to the highest level (four). Additionally, the platform provides referrals and support to help you locate local service providers that can meet your needs, as well as information on the cost of your care, including any additional expenses that you may need to pay in addition to the government subsidy.

A person who is eligible to receive government-subsidised aged care services is referred to as a "My Aged Care Client".
